Micah 6:8 has always been my anchor: “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” This verse shaped my heart long before I ever arrived at AIIAS, but it became even more real through the journey I walked here. It reminded me that no matter how difficult the road, God values not perfection—but a heart that seeks justice, loves mercy, and walks closely with Him.
Coming to AIIAS was one of the boldest steps of faith my family and I ever took. We came with hope and calling, but not with comfort. The challenges were real—especially financially. There were days when we had very little, sometimes even nothing, and it would have been easy to feel alone or to question whether we belonged. But AIIAS is not just an institution. It is a family—a place where God’s love is made tangible through people.
One of the greatest blessings we received was the warmth, generosity, and encouragement of the South Pacific Division (SPD) community at AIIAS. Their care reminded us that we were not
walking this journey alone. Whether it was a shared meal, a kind word, or help in a moment of need, we saw God’s hands through His people. I will never forget the feeling of being supported, not because we were strong, but because God was strong in the community around us.
Academically, the experience was stretching. Graduate school—especially research—pushed me beyond anything I’d known before. I often felt lost, but it was in those very moments of weakness that God taught me to lean on Him more deeply. He led me step by step, not always removing the obstacles, but gave me the strength to face them.
On May 25, 2025, when I walked across the stage, I didn’t just carry a diploma—I carried a testimony. Every challenge, every answered prayer, every moment of uncertainty now stood behind me as a monument to God’s faithfulness. I am living proof that God makes a way where there seems to be none.
To anyone out there wondering if AIIAS is the place for them—it is. It is a place where your calling is refined, your character is tested, and your faith is deepened. If you are willing to walk humbly with your God, AIIAS will not just teach you but transform you. Come.
Bring your dreams, your fears, your hopes. God is waiting to meet you here—just as He met me.
