The AIIAS community witnessed a vibrant and democratic exercise as students elected their new AIIAS Student Association (ASA) officers for the upcoming academic year. The elections, held on May 23, 2025, were organized and supervised by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), ensuring a fair, transparent, and engaging process.
Students turned out in strong numbers to vote for candidates who will represent their voices and lead campus initiatives across academic, spiritual, social, and administrative spheres. Among the newly elected leaders are:

The elections were particularly noteworthy for the active participation of students from the South Pacific Division (SPD), two of whom were successfully elected into key leadership roles. VonEriK Liligeto was elected as Vice President, and Toma Tuikatakata was chosen as Public Relations Officer—a proud moment for the SPD AIIAS community, highlighting their

“This election is more than a change in leadership—it’s a renewal of our student body’s voice, vision, and vitality,” said COMELEC President, Dr. Chisomo Ngala. “We congratulate all the winners and thank every candidate and voter for their active participation.”
COMELEC ensured that the process followed a structured timeline for nominations,
campaigning, and voting. The elected officers are expected to begin their terms in the academic semester starting August 2025, working collaboratively with administration, faculty, and fellow students to enhance the AIIAS experience.
