During the 2024-2025 academic year, AIIAS welcomed many students from the SPD. In 2024, Pr. Hensly Simoen and his family arrived from Vanuatu, followed by Laisa Paul and her family from Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Mr. Hillary Meiya and his family from the Solomon Islands. In December, Pr. Ilaitia Wacegucegu and Pr. Toma Naivalu, along with their families, came from Fiji. In 2025, Sakly Andrew and his family joined from PNG, followed by Pr. Frazer Rubeun from the Solomon Islands and Pr. Edward Peters from PNG. AIIAS currently hosts 24 SPD students, making it the third-largest community on campus.
